So Jake has been pestering me along with my dad to get back into blogging. I thought I would do it for Egypt but whenever I had a chance to start writing again a new movie would be put on during the bus rides or I tended to fall asleep.
Now we are stuck waiting out a heavy thunderstorm in a cafe in split before we make the dash back to the hostel so I really have no excuses.
This trip started off a bit tense as I left the office to meet Jake at the train station to catch our express service to the airport. Jake called sounding a bit stressed saying he had lost track of time at work and had just left home and was on the tube. It takes a good 45mins on the tube to get to the train station so there was no way we were going to catch the first train ... Or the second. Finally Jake arrived soaking wet from the storm that had decide to open up over London.
Luckily we got to Stansted airport and a new check in opened up just for us, we breezed through security to find after all that our plane was delayed so we had plenty of time to enjoy a beer in the departure lounge.
